Welcome to Kenan who joins us from the University of Vienna where he worked with Prof. Jani Kotakoski and Prof. Jannik Meyer. Kenan received a PhD in Physics this year and he will join us in our effort to develop plasmonic photocatalysts and probe their activity with in-situ electron microscopy.
Dr. Xia Zhang joined the group in June 2018 to develop single-particle spectroscopy hardware, single-photon nanoantennas and plasmonic photocatalysts. Xia returns to Dublin where she completed her PhD research in the School of Physics at TCD in 2015. In recent years she was a post-doc in Prof. Mark Tame's quantum nanophotonics group at the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa and the University of Sydney, Australia.
